This is what Little Athletics is all about
For 30 years, the TLAA -
Age categories range from 5 to 14 years, so U15 is the end of a Little Athletics career but for many, the beginning of club athletics. The season runs from October to March with State titles at the end of the season. You don't have to be the fastest runner or the best jumper, because every individual has a goal. Times and distances are properly measured and rules fairly applied.
Saturday Meetings start at 8.45 am
Twilight Meetings start at 5.30 pm
Go to Calendar/Results for competition dates and check your manual for State, Regional and other club's competition dates!

Club colours are a white top with navy blue shorts. Athletes should place the name and age tag which they receive at registration in the middle of their top, with the TLAA badge on the right hand side and the Queenborough club badge on the left hand side. Current season's award badges should be placed on the back of the athlete's shirt.
Parents are required to attend and supervise their children. The club cannot accept responsibility for children left at the venue without parental supervision. Children should bring hats to wear when not competing, sunscreen and a drink bottle. Shoes must be worn by athletes at all times.
We encourage parents to be voluntary helpers in activities ranging from measuring jumps, judging track events, starting or timing races or recording results of events.
For rules of athletic competition, see your Tasmanian Little Athletics Association manual or talk to one of our Education Officers.
